Dalek

A childhood spent drawing Terry Nation's iconic Daleks from Doctor Who was bound to return to relevance in this age of digital art. This scene of a Dalek invasion is based on Raymond Cusick's classic Dalek design, and I wanted to create a piece which harked back to the cult Dalek comic strips of the 1960s and 70s. The advantage of working in layers was that I was able to experiment with alternative versions (pictured below).
