The Light Dreams II
In early 2006, I picked up where I had
left off in 1997, following my first musical experiments with The Light Dreams. I
realised the Garage Band software was quite similar to the
OctaMED programme I had used, and I soon came to realise its
potential for creating the kind of music I like. My first
experiments in Garageband went on to become The Light Dreams II. I
never intended to make a full album, or a sequel to my original
1997 recordings. But once I realised the potential of the
software, the project rapidly progressed and I became addicted
to the musical creative process.
The Light Dreams II is music for dream scenarios. A few years ago I
had a dream where I was a stranger in a big city and the
feelings of solitude and adventure stuck with me, and I wanted
to try and provide a
soundtrack for that dream.
