Tomorrow
Tomorrow evolved
from a different musical project with a dystopic theme. In the
process of making dark, menacing music for the
‘dystopia’ album I grew tired of the heavy synths
and decided to do something with a much warmer, more worldly
feel. Tracks like “Red Sun Rising” and
“Golden Glow” have much more of an eastern feel,
mostly through the rhythm tracks and bring some variety to the
music.
The basic idea for this album was to base
each song around the world of tomorrow. My original idea was to
have some kind of suggestive futuristic title for each track.
Although I strayed from this idea in order to allow the music
to be more open to interpretation, the overall idea and a mood
run throughout the album, which contains some of my strongest
pieces to date, including the title track and the cinematic
“Myth”.
